Projekt-EU's clients come from different thematic fields. They are all intereseted in bringing forward the idea of the European Community. By making use of the financial resources the European Community offers for this purpose, they want to share the achievements of the European Union with partners abroad or further strengthen the idea of a common Europe within the borders of the EC.
The applications and proposals supported by Projekt-EU have achieved a success rate of 60 % in obtaining funding.

- External Assistance programmes:
These projects foster cooperation between the European Union and non-member-states. The focus lies on the countries neighbouring the European Union (ENPI).
past and present projects
Twinning is a cross-sectional EU initiative, designed for public administrative bodies. It aims to foster "good governance" by building up institutional structures and working methodologies and it promotes the disseminsation of the European "acquis communautaire". Currently twinning is only available for countries with enlargement status and for the ENPI area.
Grant/Service contracts help to achieve the goals of the EU worldwide. Institutions and organisations are encouraged to contribute to the implementation of goals fixed in bilateral agreements between the EU and Third Countries.
Common issues of interest within Europe are fostered through specialized programmes. These programmes help to develop a common understanding and exchange of experience in areas of priority interest
